About Club

“Charity begins at home, but should not end there, it should reach the society” with this thought
our club was formed on June 27th 1975 with Mrs. Uma Ullal as Charter President and
Mrs.Alamelu Giri as Charter Secretary with total of 12 members .It was inaugurated by then
District Chairman Mrs. Kamal Padmanabhan.
Mrs. Minnie Bopaiah and Mrs Prema Kalappa are two members who have been District
Chairmen from our club in our District 318.
Our club has carried out tremendous projects all year round with talented leaders .We also carry
out many ongoing projects initiated by our leaders.
We currently have a strength of 35 members and we meet once a month.
We the members very much believe in the motto of Inner wheel "Friendship and Service‟ and
we follow both and enjoy being the members of this International Organization. We continue
under the leadership of previous presidents and look forward to taking our club to the next level.
