About Our Place

Shankerpura is a tiny hamlet in Udupi district,Karnataka state. Situated 3k.m East of NH 66. (Shankerpura comprises of villages like Pangala,Moodabettu,Innanje,Kurkal and Shirva. The town Shankerpura lies between the towns of Katapadi and Shirva. It is about 10k.m to the temple town Udupi. 
A fragrance of Udupi Mallige  (Jasmine )is cultivated in Shankerpura thus it is also known as "Shankerpura Mallige".is cultivated about 7,000 growers in and around Shankerpura.

About Club  

IWC of Shankerpura was formed on 13 -09 -2004 and the charter was presented on 25 -04 -2005 by PDC Bharathi Chandrashekar with the number of 5303 in the presence of 16 charter members.
