About Our Place

We are part of Kukke Subramanya Inner Wheel Club. This club has members from local town of Subrahmanya and nearby villages. Kukke Subrahmanya is located in Kadaba taluk (earlier in Sullia taluk) in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka.There is a mythological Hindu temple of Sri Kukke Subramanya located in our town. In this temple Karthikeya is worshipped as Subrahmanya, lord of all serpents. Our town is situated on the river banks of kumaradhara. We are surrounded by dense evergreen forests of Western ghats. Famous mountain of Kumara parvatha, a popular hiking destination for trekkers from across South India is situated in Subrahmanya. Shesha parvatha a mountain shaped like a six headed mythological serpent adjacent to Kumara parvatha like a cobra with its open head as if protecting the temple shrine of lord Subramanya.

About Club

Kukke Subramanya Inner Wheel Club was established in 6/9/2015 and was registered officially in  4/1/ 2016. The club has 16 members at present. We have added two members this year. We are all very proud to be a part of world's largest women's association. Our members are very enthusiastic to participate in all the meetings that are held once in a month to chalk out the programmes. We arrange Family meet often just to cheer up and boost the energy levels of our club members. Most of our members have Rotary background, hence we get a lot of support from family members as well. We have members from Subrahmanya Grama panchayat and Management trustee member of Sri Subramanyeswara Temple. Most of our members are teachers, lecturers, self employed business women and housewives.

We are very proud to announce that every year we organise projects on Uplifting women empowerment, Child welfare and protecting the Rights of nature. we get ample of opportunities to serve in temple and other social service activities in Sri subramanyeswara Champa shashti mahotsavam.

Finally, we have goals of supporting the growth of our esteemed club, increasing the members and planning quality projects. We wish to contribute to the humanity and serving the mankind.
