1995-96, during chairmanship of Mrs.Krupalini Urs , and Dr.Vimala as Distinct Secretary along with District EC, PDCs and Innerwheel sisters , we hosted the 2nd AC Meeting. Mrs.Abha Gupta was then the Association President
With the support of all members , we were able to procure a site and today we are proud to have a building of our own for Vocational Training centre for Women
We were giving scholarships to eligible students of 9th,10th stds and PU and Diploma students. To our great surprise, One student finished her Engineering and after taking a job, donated ₹10,000/- to our club for charity
About Our Club
"Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset Sky" said Rabindranath Tagore. We added colors to our life by joining this prestigious organisation. On an auspicious day in November, 1983 12 rotary anes decided to form the the inner wheel club off Mysore North . The sponsors who sow the seed of friendship where inner wheel sisters of i w club of Mysore West. Best chairman Mrs. Radha Madhavan and ESC Mrs Mohana chakrapani inaugurated our club and installed Mrs Tankamma Epen as the charter president. Our charter presentation was also done bye district chairman, Mrs Radha Madhavan in June,. 1984.
Charter number 2831. We are proud to have Four Pdc'stwo fast district officers . We started a trust "Snehasindu Trust Innerwheel club of Mysore North" and procured a site in 1996.
Joining hands with our Rotarians we are constructing a "VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER", for women . In Vijayanagar 3rd stage, Mysore. Our club has successfully completed 37 years of Friendship and Service. Today we are 39 members with zeal and enthusiasm to promote the ideals of inner wheel.
