Mysuru is one of the beautiful cities of karnataka and famous for it's heritage value from
many centuries.This cultural city has many contributions by royal family that ruled
Mysuru.Mysuru Amba Vilas Palace is very famous anywhere in the world being one of the
most prominent places for tourists also blessed with goddess chamundeshwari situated atop
chamundi hill.World famous Mysuru Dasara Navaratri Utsava every year begins with royal
families and offers pooja for goddess chamundeshwari from day one to vijayadashmi which
ends with beautiful procession.
Mysuru has a rich, historical, social, literary, cultural and political heritage.Mysuru is a
homeland for art,literature and also education.There are n number of places in mysuru which
attracts tourists from globewide.
Mysore is also known for its special variety of jasmine flower fondly referred as "Mysore
Mallige" and betel leaves. Tourism is the major industry alongside the traditional industries.
Mysore's inter-city public transportation includes rail, bus and flights 

About Club

The formation of Inner Wheel Club of Mysore Midtown was initiated by IWC of Mysore West in 1983. The then Extension service officer Mrs Mohana Chakrapani inaugurated the club on 31st October 1983 and the charter was presented by Dist Chairman Mrs Radha Madhavan on 30th November 1983. The club has grown from strength to strength forging friendships and serving the community. In the initial years, the club invested into building friendship.. Hosted two Dist Assemblies, joined hands to host many Dist Conferences and the South Zone Meet in 2019. Two members rose to the rank of Dist Chairman – Mrs Chandrika Raghu and Mrs Anuradha Nandakumar. Joint project with Dist 320 to construct a waiting room at a maternity centre in Coimbatore, Solar water pump for clean water to a tribal settlement, a prepaid autorikshaw service centre are some major projects.
