World breast feeding week is celebrated every year from 1 to 7 August to encourage breast feeding and protect the health of the mother and baby. On this occasion our club in association with the pediatrician Dr.Pradeep, President of Pediatric Association and Dr.Kumuda, Gynocologist of Mysuru city, celebrated the "breast feeding week" at Seth Mohandas Tulsidas Metarnity Hospital. Sponsored blankets, bread, horlicks sachets to the 'nursing mothers', costing Rs.10,000/-

Dr.Sonia Mandappa gave a talk and enlightened the new mothers the importance of breast feeding. Dr.Srinivas, Radialogist of the hopital attended and encouraged the session.
