A nurse from the Primary Health Centre in Kurbarhalli spoke about the benefits, and the effective method of feeding a new-born. She also highlighted the importance of nutrition by organising a special lecture on Iron deficiency anaemia (IDA). Fruits, vegetables, pulses, and cereals that are necessary during and after pregnancy were bought and displayed to highlight the importance of nutrients in the diet to prevent anaemia.
