Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference. While we have two hands one is for helping ourselves and the second for helping others. This is why Innerwheel club of Mysore Gold organised a competition on the merits and happiness on wearing a saree of your mother and collected entry fees only and only for donating the proceeds to Baby Prateeksha who is to undergo surgery for bone marrow cancer. We were able to collect Rs 30000/_ from the competition as well as by donation by members and public and presented the cheque to the grandmother at a press meet. Members of the club feel a sense of satisfaction for having contributed fund for a good cause of saving a child.
