National Girl Child Day !!

Every year, National Girl Child Day is celebrated on January 24 to raise awareness to promote the rights, education, health, and nutrition of the girl child across the country.
On this occasion our Innerwheel Club Mysore Gold members visited Smt Putteeramma Residential Special School Mysore for deaf and mute girls and spent quality time with them.We organised drawing competition and we were mersmerised by their art skills.Also conducted games to understand their ability of concentration and patience.our member Rashmi phanish sponsored prizes to the winners .
Gave awareness on importance of girl child day , nutritional awareness menstrual hygiene & also with regards to safe and unsafe touch using sign language interpreters.
All the children were given sanitary pads , Stationary & Fruits . The kids expressed their happiness by displaying our club name in sign language.
