Today being “Earth day” we did a project on Earth care. We did composting at Jayanagar government school beside ISKCON temple Jayanagar.
2 pits of measurement 5’ length and 6’ breadth and 4’ length and 6’ breadth were dug. Tarpal sheets were put in the bottom on top a feet of mud was added and then a layer of dry leaves they a mixture of cow dung and water , This process has to be continued and has to be mixed with a stick regularly.After six months manure is ready for use .
