Our IWC surathkal  organized a SHOPPING MELA . The main aim of the MELA was  to  help women entrepreneurs and raise fund for the club projects .

1.In the mela we encouraged an economically backward woman entrepreneur to set up her stall free of cost .

2.Also helped women entrepreneur to set up their stalls with bear minimum charges.

3. Provided to set up all type of shops like sarees, readymade cloths, groceries, organic food, ornaments ,handicraft, etc.

4.Our members took a GO GREEN initiative to bring in plants from their homes and sell it in the  event.

  All the women entrepreneurs were  grateful  for the opportunity  provided and they made a good profit from their stalls.  we were happy that we raised good  amount of fund  from the events, but  much more happier looking at the great response received  from both public  and vendors.

   Conducted the event successfully due to the enthusiastic participation of all our club members and also raise the considerable amount for the coming year celebration of   silver jubilee of our club..
