The installation ceremony of the office bearers of IW Mysore Midtown for the year 2021-22 was held on 23rd July 2021. Keeping safety measures in mind, the board decided to have an intimate ceremony with only the board members and a few guests from Rotary Midtown. However, thanks to technology, it could also be streamed live on the virtual medium for the rest of the members. Installing officer PDC Mrs. Chandrika Raghu presided over the event. Rotary Midtown President Rtn. Dr. Ravindranath along with his wife Mrs. Anupama and Rotary Midtown Secretary Rtn. Mr. Srinivasan were present.

Mrs. Ashwini Prakash and Mrs. Sheela Gopal got the show on the road in their own unique fashion and anchored the entire event with great ease and precision. Incoming President Mrs. Asha Mahesh along with Secretary Mrs. Vimala Nagraj had everything planned to the tee which led the event to a grand success. Firstly, the meeting was called to order. The programme was inaugurated by the dignitaries lighting the lamp. It was accompanied by a melodious song by Mrs. Sheela Gopal which created a divine atmosphere in the auditorium. Mrs. Savitha Srinath recited the Inner Wheel prayer. President Mrs. Rashmi Kaveramma welcomed everyone. Incoming Secretary Mrs. Vimala Nagraj shared all the congratulatory messages received from other clubs. A special mention to our club Editor Mrs. Chaitra Mohan for doing an impressive job editing the bulletin on time despite her unfortunate injury. The bulletin was released by Rotary President Rtn. Dr Ravindranath. It was complemented by another beautiful melody by Mrs. Sheela Gopal. Secretary Mrs. Shama Milton briefed the various projects done in the year 2020-21 and Mrs. Rashmi Kaveramma shared her experiences as outgoing President. During her tenure, our club parented the Mysore Aisiri club. Another feather in the cap! It was indeed a very successful year for her and her team, much appreciated by each and everybody. Amidst challenging times, she had led the change with guts and glory. Mrs. Sheela Urs introduced our very own PDC Mrs. Chandrika Raghu. The team introduction was carried out by the MCs in a very playful and musical way. Mrs. Chandrika Raghu collared Mrs. Asha Mahesh as the new President & officially installed the office bearers for the year 2021-22. She was then called upon to give her valuable guidance. Her words, like pearls of wisdom, were very encouraging and inspirational as always. The vote of thanks was rendered by Mrs. Ashwini Raghavendra. Last but not the least, Mrs. Smitha Anil entertained the audience with her graceful performance. The event was wrapped up with everybody singing the National Anthem. The guests then proceeded to relish a delicious buffet.
