As breastfeeding week is celebrated from August 1st to 8th, our club along with health department of government hospital conducted breastfeeding awareness program to the pregnant ladies, told them the importance of breastfeeding and why it is important to breastfeed baby till 2 years. We did seemantham to expecting mothers and distributed sarees and fruits to them. Asha workers were present and helped us in the program .
