On 7/8/21 jointly with Besant's women's College Mangalore, we organized one webinar titled 'Protect breast feeding -a message for a mother to be '.
More than 300 students participated from India and abroad.
PDC Mitra Prabhu was the resource person who explained the importance of breast feeding and its benefits for a mother and a baby. For working mothers how milk can be extracted and pumped to store hygienically was informed well. The importance of colostrum as liquid gold and breast feeding itself is a gold standard was the take home message for all.
Many students from Nepal Srilanka also attended the talk.
