Project Details :
To commemorate Breastfeeding week from Aug 1 to Aug 8. Our club distributed dettol, soaps, sanitizer, bread, fresh fruits and horlicks to both expecting and new mothers.
A nurse from the Primary Health Centre in Kurbarhalli explained the importance of Breastfeeding, its benefits, the method of feeding correctly. A special talk was given on the important nutrients in the diet while breastfeeding.
