On the occasion of breast feeding awareness week, between 1st to 7th of August, an awareness talk on the merits of breast feeding was for the benefit of pregnant mothers as well as lactating mothers was organised at the government hospital of Jayanagara, Mysore. Dr. Jayamala and medical officer Dr. Veena gave an awareness talk on the subject. Bread, biscuits and fruits were distributed to mothers.
