(Eco friendly sanitary pads worth rs 600 and refreshments were sponsored)
To educate the underprivileged women our club had arranged a educative session on how to maintain hygeine during menstruation.
Dr Sowmya Gynaecologist from K R Hospital addressed the group of 20 consisting girls and women and explained about the abnormalities,Do's and dont's,importance of changing pads every 6 hrs,consumption of food rich in high protein and iron,use and disposal of sanitary pads and so on.Biodegradable pads were distributed to the participants.
