HANBAL is a hill station that lies in the lap of the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Filled with abundant coffee, tea and spice plantation. It is situated 17km away from sub-district head quarter sakleshpura and 57 km away from district head quarter Hassan. Sakleshpura is nearest town to Hanbal. Its’s home to the 18th century, star shaped Manjarabad fort. It has rich biodiversity in Bisle reserve forest, home to cobras deer, and birds, to the northeast Jenukallu Gudda  peak offers vistas stretching as far  as the Arabian sea.
